INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomores catcher Cassie Ernst and pitcher Elizabeth Tillou of the Moravian College softball team are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III Statistics released Tuesday.
Ernst is getting hit by a pitch 0.38 times per game, which ranks her 16th in the country. On the season, Ernst is batting .361 (13-for-36) with 12 runs scored and eight RBIs.
Tillou is tied for 61st in the nation with two shutouts this spring. She currently has a 1.64 ERA and a 3-1 record. In 25.2 innings pitched, she has struck out 11 while only walking three, and holding her opponents to a .224 batting average.
Softball returns to action on Thursday, March 29th as they travel to Albright College for a non-conference contest. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
