MADISON, N.J. – Junior pitcher Alyssa Fegely of the Moravian College softball team earned Landmark Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of April 2nd.
Fegely went 2-0 with a 2.05 ERA this week. She struck out 13 and walked three in 13.2 innings. Fegely tossed her first career no-hitter in a 9-0 shutout win over Landmark opponent Drew. She fanned seven in five innings in the victory. Fegely then threw a complete game shutout, going six innings and striking out three in a win over Ursinus. At the plate, she was 3-for-7 (.429) with three runs, a double a home run and a RBI last week.
On the season, Fegely is 3-1 with a 2.46 ERA. She has 25 strikeouts in 31.1 innings while holding her opponents to a .215 batting average.
Softball returns to the circle on Tuesday, April 3rd as they travel to Hunter College for a non-conference game. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m. in the doubleheader.
