BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Sophomore Sage Snyder from the Moravian University softball squad has been honored as this week's Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Snyder led the Greyhounds at the plate during a 6-2 week at the PFX Spring Games in Florida as she hit .524 (11-for-21) to go with five runs, two doubles and six RBIs. Snyder also had a walk and was hit by a pitch for a .542 on-base percentage, and she had a pair of stolen bases to go with a .619 slugging percentage and five putouts in six chances in the outfield. Snyder hit safely in six of eight games and went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, three runs and a double in a 15-8 win over Dubuque (Iowa).
