Dizinno Named Landmark Softball Player of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Senior first baseman Amanda Dizinno of the Moravian College softball team has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Dizinno helped the Greyhounds to a 4-0 mark in non-conference action last week by hitting .667 with six hits in nine at-bats. She added two doubles, three runs scored and two RBIs. In the field, Dizinno had 31 putouts in three games to raise her career total to 951, just four putouts shy of Danielle Carrione's school record of 954 set between 2004-07.

Moravian, which is 15-3 overall this season and winners of seven straight games, is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, April 2nd in a non-conference doubleheader versus Centenary (N.J.) College starting at 3:00 p.m. at Blue & Grey Field in Bethlehem.
