TOWSON, Md. --- Senior pitcher Alyssa Fegely of the Moravian College softball team has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance last week.

Fegely was 2-0 in the circle last week including a win at Juniata College on Saturday that helped the Greyhounds clinch their 19th consecutive postseason appearance. Fegely allowed just one unearned run in 11 1/3 innings over three appearances, and she allowed five walks and seven hits while striking out 12 batters. At the plate, Fegely hit .500 for the week with five hits in ten at-bats to go with two runs scored, a double, a homer and six RBI.

Moravian, which is 29-9 overall and 6-2 in Landmark Conference action, will close out its 2013 regular season on Saturday, April 27th in a Landmark Conference doubleheader at The Catholic University of America beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
