INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Eight members of the Moravian College softball team are ranked nationally in the seventh NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2013 season, and the team is ranked in six statistical categories as well including being in the top ten in the country in two categories.

Sophomore outfielder Jenn Dalickas is ranked in four categories to lead the Greyhounds. Dalickas is tied for 53rd in the nation in batting average a .470, and she is tied for 59th in doubles per game with 0.37, 94th in slugging percentage at .730 and tied for 79th in RBI per game at 0.92.

Junior catcher Cassie Ernst leads NCAA Division III in hit by pitch per game at 0.68 as she has been hit an NCAA Division III record 26 times this season, and Ernst is 30th in on-base percentage at .556 and 62nd in RBI per gam3 at 1.03. Senior first baseman Amanda Dizinno is 27th in toughest to strikeout with one strikeout every 44 at-bats, and she is tied for 28th in sacrifice flies with three.

Sophomore outfielder Dior George is 16th in the country in runs per game at 1.34, scoring a school record 51 runs this season, and she is tied for 59th in doubles per game at 0. 37. Junior outfielder Miranda Sergas is ninth in the country in sacrifice hits per game at 0.43.

Senior pitcher Alyssa Fegely is tied tenth ninth in shutouts with seven while junior pitcher Elizabeth Tillou is tied for ninth the country in saves with three.

As a team, the Greyhounds are third in batting average at .373, sixth in doubles per game at 2.11, 15th in fielding percentage at .971, 23rd in slugging percentage at .504, 26th in scoring at 7.13 runs per contest and 34th in winning percentage at .763.

Moravian, currently 29-9 overall and 6-2 in Landmark Conference action, is slated to return to action on Saturday, April 27th when the Greyhounds travel to The Catholic University of America for a Landmark Conference doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.
